I’m Alex! A New York–based creative with a background in acting, writing and digital creation, aka your typical millennial.
I began creating digital content during the pandemic and developed a TikTok following with an original series called “NYC Rules.” Most videos included cheeky tips on how to survive in the big city. Eventually the series included dating rules and general life advice before becoming a weekly podcast I produced and hosted, entitled The RuleBook. I concluded the podcast after 48 episodes in 2023.
Storytelling is at the heart of every project I work on, whether it’s writing one act plays, hosting a podcast, performing on camera or creating shareable content online. My mission is always to execute on unique ideas that engage and inspire audiences.
Most recently I’ve been working on several non-fiction writing projects on topics ranging from caregiving, to identity and personal development. I am working on a larger piece about my mother’s ongoing battle with dementia.
I received my masters degree in broadcast journalism from NYU, and have a Bachelors in English Literature from Marymount Manhattan College.
